Gettle provided complete project management for this multi-divisional project all the while Utz remained in operation. This 18,000 SF office facility is one of many buildings of the Utz campus located throughout Hanover, PA, and serves as Utz’s Operations Center.

This project consisted of the following:

• Eaton S-Series server cabinets were used and arranged in an A and B configuration within the Data Center.
• New Generac industrial gas driven generator furnished and installed; naturally aspirated 8.OL V-8 engine.
• Installation of a 3/0 THHN copper cable from the main electrical service ground bar, attached to the building steel and terminated on a ground bar and mounted in the Data Center. To serve as the main telecommunications grounding and bonding system for the Data Center.
• Grounding grid for the raised floor with a continuous bare #6 wire attached to every support surrounding the perimeter of the raised floor.
• Electrical service in the Data Center included the installation of a 225 Amp Main Lug Panelboard with all branch circuit breakers feeding all equipment that serve the Data Center.
• Each cabinet included a vertically-mounted Power Distribution Unit (PDU) mounted on both sides of the cabinet in an A and B configuration.
• Uninterruptable power supply units furnished and installed with two (2) Eaton preconfigured 18kVA UPS units arranged in an A and B configuration.
• An 18” wide telco ladder tray furnished and installed between the back and front wall, with a
  tee section running over to and above the existing network cabinets. This tray serves as a support structure for the top of the cabinets and a means to support the electrical and communications cabling feeding in from the top of the cabinets.
• A total of 48 strands of single-mode and 48 strands of 62.5 multimode fiber optic cable furnished and installed between the new server cabinets and the existing Server Cabinets.
• Fike ECARO FE-25 Clean Agent Fire Suppression and Detection System.
